Rock crushing equipment for concrete block recycling

Technical Information

Machine Overview - The Mini Crusher - Rock Crushing Equipment - Model 5020T

Description

Single toggle Jaw crusher with jaw size of 500mm x 200mm.
Hydraulically adjustable jaws which produce material ranging from 100mm down to 5mm.

Material Recycling Capability

The mini crusher rock crushing equipment will crush concrete, kerbstones, granite, marble, gravestones, paving slabs, old asphalt, bricks, blocks, tiles, porcelain and flint and any other stone found in the UK. It is ideal for concrete block recycling, household brick recycling and industrial projects.

Recycled Material Output

The material output will vary according to the machine jaw setting, input material, loading equipment, loading method and familiarity of the loader. The machine can be set to produce recycled material within the range 5mm up to 100mm.
For advice on recycling your specific waste material, or specific queries, please consult the HT Services representative via the 'contact us' section on this website.

Jaws

Jaws are hydraulically adjusted by a lever, which also allows for the quick release of material.
In addition a reverse‘upwards’ action of the jaw movement is provided.
Jaws will crush hardest rock of 650 kilonewtons.
A hydraulic pressure release is fitted.
The jaw plates are 14% manganese steel and will ‘work harden’.
The life of the Jaws will vary according to the abrasive content of material – on general rubble approximately 2 years has been achieved before replacement is needed.

Reinforced Concrete and Steel

For steel and reinforced concrete it is recommended that you protect your conveyor belt and crush this material having removed the conveyor – this takes approximately 6 minutes. This is not necessary for brick and concrete block recycling.

Engine

The engine is a Yanmar 25HP water-cooled diesel. Max speed 3600rpm.
The mini crusher requires only 2600 rpm, and this creates quiet running.
A full tank of diesel will last for 10 hours. It is very economical, using only 3 litres of diesel per hour on full throttle.
The engine is fitted with a cyclonic dust filter.

Tracks and Controls

Tracks are rubber but steel tracks can be fitted. The crusher will climb a 30-degree incline and turn full circle on the spot.
Controls are hydraulic lever type, clearly and simply labelled and easily maintained. The hydraulics are standard equipment. An oil cooler is fitted to ensure longer life of hydraulic equipment and for hotter days or climates.

Conveyor and Dust Suppression

The conveyor is simple in design with few parts. There are no bed rollers to seize up or cause tracking problems. The belt and conveyor flights are moulded in one complete piece providing much strength and durability.
The speed of the belt is adjustable.
The conveyor can be removed in under 6 minutes if reinforced concrete/re-bar is present.
Dust suppression is by means of fine water spray nozzles on the conveyor, connected to a standard domestic hose fitting.
Dust suppression is fitted as standard.
Hose pipes are available from us as an additional option.

Screener

An optional conveyor mounted screener is available for hire.
This will accept various decks from 5mm mesh to 35 mm.
The screener takes only a few minutes to attach or detach. This will separate dust, topsoil and fine chippings from your crushing process.

Safety and Maintenance

There are two emergency cut-out switches, one on each side of the machine. All doors have safety cut-out switches. The machine has easy access for maintenance and cleaning.
Air, Oil and Fuel filters should be changed at least every 250 hours.
*Bearing nipples should be greased 4 shots every 10 hours.

Loading the Rock Crushing Equipment

Maximum productivity is achieved by correct loading of the rock crushing equipment.
The most effective method is with a 3 ton excavator fitted with an 18” bucket .
A constant and regular feed of material, loaded from the rear of the machine and from a height which allows continual observation of the jaws, whilst utilising the full length of the hopper is best.
An operator should become familiar within a short space of time. The hopper and jaw aperture should not be swamped.
For concerete block recycling and brick recycling the rock crushing equipment can be manually loaded.
